The highly anticipated event kicked off at 4 a.m. on Thursday, as a specially fabricated pot was transported from Gbagada to the Eko Hotel and Suites, the official venue of the record-breaking attempt.
Baci, who previously made global headlines with her record-breaking cookathon, is now preparing to cook a staggering 4,000 kilograms of Nigerian Jollof rice. The recipe will require over 1,230 liters of oil, among other ingredients, making it one of the most ambitious food feats ever attempted.
The atmosphere at the venue was electrifying as fans, food lovers, and celebrities turned out to cheer Hilda on. Among the high-profile supporters were actress Funke Akindele, media personality Enioluwa, and popular TikToker Peller.
