Music icon Innocent “2face” Idibia has sparked widespread concern after sharing a troubling message amid ongoing tensions with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker representing Edo State.
In a now-deleted Instagram Story posted on Wednesday, 2face wrote the brief but alarming words, “Help me,” marking his first direct response since the controversy erupted online.
His distressing message came shortly after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, made an emotional appeal on Instagram, using lyrics from one of 2face’s classic songs to highlight the singer’s struggles.
“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, but somehow it’s unfolding in real time… Painful reality. Allow us to save you. You’ve been suffering for too long,” Hyacinth wrote.
The marital drama has been unfolding for weeks. Reports suggest it began in the United Kingdom, where a heated altercation between 2face and Osawaru allegedly prompted police intervention and resulted in the singer’s brief arrest.
Tensions resurfaced when the couple appeared on an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, engaging in a public argument that further fuelled speculation.
As the incidents pile up, fans and colleagues have flooded social media with messages of concern, urging the award-winning singer to seek help and prioritize his well-being.
