When asked by ITV if he was currently playing the best football of his career, the 31-year-old didn’t hesitate:
“I’d say so. The numbers are there, but it’s also about how I’m feeling on the pitch — seeing the runs, the passes, and being in great physical shape. I’m in a good moment right now, and hopefully I can keep it going.”
