The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, Anambra First Lady Nonye Soludo, and former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, have joined other Nigerians in celebrating the 65th birthday of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, commending her vision, leadership, and service to humanity.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, Oba Owoade, through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, described Mrs. Tinubu as “a role model who has exhibited uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership in the service of the nation.”
The monarch praised her sincerity and reliability, noting that she “keeps her promises, makes responsible decisions, and demonstrates true compassion in her dealings with people.” He further highlighted her integrity and sense of service, stressing that her strength lies in serving the people rather than seeking personal gain.
Praying for her continued impact, Oba Owoade added: “You are a fantastic role model for all those seeking to make an impact with their lives. Your leadership has meant so much to this country.”
Anambra State First Lady, Nonye Soludo, also celebrated Mrs. Tinubu’s compassion and dedication to women and children, calling her “a perfect example of selfless service, excellence, grace, and kindness.”
She said: “On behalf of the women and children of Anambra State, I celebrate your excellence, grace, and kindness. Your life is a shining example of what selfless service should be. May you be blessed with health, wisdom, and abundant grace as you continue to serve humanity.”
Similarly, Betta Edu hailed the First Lady as “an epitome of grace, compassion, and kindness, especially towards the downtrodden.” She praised the Renewed Hope Initiative for its life-changing interventions for vulnerable families across the country.
“Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, you have provided succour to families, empowered women, and created new opportunities for young people,” Edu said, adding that Mrs. Tinubu embodies tender yet firm leadership and remains “a motherly but national figure of hope.”
Edu prayed for long life and renewed strength for the celebrant, describing her as “a First Lady of unmatched dedication and an enduring source of inspiration for the nation.”
